Guest Post Guidelines

Guest Post Guidelines —
Read Before You Submit

We have clear editorial standards because our readers expect quality. Every article we publish on S3Decode goes through a thorough review. Read these guest posting guidelines carefully — pitches that don't follow them won't be considered.

Article Specifications
  • Word Count1,500 – 3,000 words
  • FormatGoogle Doc or .docx
  • ImagesMin 1200px, royalty-free
  • Your Link1 dofollow backlink
  • ExclusivityNot published elsewhere
  • Author BioMax 80 words + headshot
  • AI ContentNot accepted
  • Pitch FirstAlways before writing
01
Pitch Us Before You Write
Email us your title, a 3–5 sentence summary, and 5 key takeaway bullets before writing a full draft. We'll confirm if it's a fit within 24 hours. Full drafts submitted without approval won't be reviewed.
02
Minimum 1,500 Words — Zero Fluff
We accept articles between 1,500 and 3,000 words. Every word must earn its place. No filler, no padding, no "as we all know" openers. If a point takes two sentences, don't stretch it to two paragraphs.
03
Completely Original Content Only
Your article cannot have been published anywhere else — including your blog, Medium, LinkedIn, or Substack. We run plagiarism checks on every submission. Duplicates are rejected immediately.
04
Practical Beats Theoretical — Always
Our readers are practitioners, not students. Share real examples, real data, step-by-step processes, and lessons from your actual experience. Generic advice like "content is king" won't get past our editors.
05
No AI-Generated Content
We use AI detection tools on every submission. Primarily AI-generated articles are rejected without exception. Using AI for light research or editing is fine — but the writing, voice, and insight must be authentically yours.
06
One Dofollow Link — Used Wisely
You may include one contextual dofollow link to your own site within the article body — only if it's genuinely relevant to what you're writing. One more link is allowed in your author bio. No more than two links total.
07
Proper Formatting Required
Submit in Google Docs with H2/H3 heading structure, short paragraphs (max 4 lines), bullet points where relevant, and at least one royalty-free image with alt text. Include a suggested meta description of 120–155 characters.
08
Author Bio + Professional Headshot
Send a professional headshot (min 400×400px) and a bio of maximum 80 words — who you are, what you do, and your relevant experience. Include your LinkedIn URL. Your bio and photo will appear on every article you publish here.
